I want|to|be perfect

Two games that will never ever become boring are the circle game and yellow car.

See, these games have been ongoing for around 2 1/2 years now. They never stop, they never get old, they remain the most comic, fun game to play in the whole world. I don't know who made them up, but I know that it was one of our friends and i applaud whoever it was immensely.

The circle game.

You need skill and patience for this game, and the most important rule... always, always be on your guard. Never assume that anyone has forgotten about this game because they haven't. They're waiting for an opportunity to circle you and when they do, it's spectacular to watch the shock and horror on the victims face. Unless of course, you're the one being circled.

rules Right, to "circle" someone, you have to make a circle with your thumb and finger and hold it below your waist. (above the waist does not count *shakes head no*) You then have to either wait patiently for someone to look through the circle or trick them into looking. "what's that on the floor?" "Oh shit! look what I spilled on my trousers.." are common favourites. So there you go, the rules and instructions for this fantastic game. There will never be a winner but everyone tries to circle the most people because it's cool to have the most. I, of course am always the one that looks through the circle, whether it's aimed at me or not. Because I am dumb. Even when someone says "look. A circle" I look. haha that's because I suck at this game.

Yellow Car.

You need sharp eyes, fast hands and resistance to pain. Never let a yellow car go by and assume that the other participants haven't noticed it. They have. And they'll smack you so hard that you'll see 3 of the car before you come round again.

rules Right. When this game was first invented, you rarely saw a yellow car on the road and that's what made this game so fun. Now there are more yellow cars so you get more bruises, which is also fun. The aim of the game is to hit someone whenever you see a yellow car. It's really easy. You can choose to play with only yellow cars or using yellow vans, trucks, buses or motorbikes aswell. It's up to you. So, you have to smack the person next to you as hard as you can and shout "yellow car!" before they smack you. It really is fun...and don't worry, the bruising fades after awhile.

warning This game bloody hurts. And also, it is probably the most addictive. When I go out with my family, there's 5 of us sitting there, perched nervously on the edge of our seats, hands hovering above the next persons head/knee/arm/back, waiting...always waiting for a glimpse of yellow to appear on the road. And god help us when there is more than one yellow vehicle... hands are flying everywhere, people are screaming "yellow car! yellow car! yellow van! yellow yellow yellow!" My dad lets go of the wheel so that he can turn round and smack my arm so hard that I think it's broken and then he laughs. And I laugh. And we all laugh. Then secretly curse the one who has delivered the most blows. And we wait again for the next yellow car so that the fun can start all over again.

So there you go kids, some new games for you to try. Just don't play yellow car if your fragile granny is sitting next to you... believe me. You will forget and turn round and punch her square in the chops. Not a pretty site when you have a pair of false teeth chomping on your hand...
